On May 1, 2025, Kimberly Richardson lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a fighter and never gave up. Kim was born in Yakima, WA on August 15, 1977.
Kim is survived by her husband, David and his daughters, Morgan (Brandon), Krisley and Emily; mother, Wanda LaCoste; dad and stepmother, Lee and Marlene Young; as well as her seven brothers, Kevin (Bonnie) Young, Jason (Michelle) Young, Eric (Sunne) Young, Billy (Rhonda) LaCoste; Abraham (Karrie) Schilperoot; Josh Schilperoot; and Nick Schilperoot. Her honorary son, Duane Ollie. She is also survived by so many nieces and nephews that she loved so much, as well as all the kids that loved her and called her Aunt Kim.
Kim was preceded in death by her dad, Bill LaCoste, her mother-in-law, Alice Richardson and all of her grandparents.
Kim was the fun aunt, always ready to plan the next birthday party, the next holiday and the next event the kids had. She was the “go to” for anything the kids. Her other love was football! She loved her Cowboys! But nothing compared to being an Alabama fan.
Kim was the manager at Sport Clips for many years leaving there to open her own business. Once David became a truck driver, Kim went on the road with him to see the country.
A celebration of life will be held on May 17 at the Fairhope pier at 3:00 PM. Kim loved rainbows, so please dress accordingly! We love you and will miss you dearly. • Roll Tide!!
