Lauri Krahn

Lauri L Krahn, age 60, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Lauri was a native of Chicago, IL, and a resident of Semmes, AL. She enjoyed traveling in her free time and spending time with her kids. She spent over 30 years of her life in the nursing field before retiring. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched and saved so many lives during her lifetime. Lauri worked at a few hospitals throughout the community in Chicago, as well as Mobile, and trained quite a few nurses throughout her career. She attended Moraine Valley College where she received her Associates degree and then went on to St. Francis University where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Lauri is survived in death by her two daughters, Lisa (Matt) Watson an Sara (Kenneth) Nall; brother, Wayne (Sandy); and two sisters, Jeri (Joe) and Lynne. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Lester Krahn (d. 1965) and Jaqueline Krahn (Melzer) (d. 2012) Memorial services to be held at a later date.
