Lauri Alece Lewis

October 6, 1977 – October 25, 2025

Lauri Alece Lewis was born in Lynwood, California, to Linda Spires and James Lewis Sr and raised in both Carson, California, and Spanish Fort, Alabama. 

She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Doctor of Law degree from Gonzaga University.

A woman of grace and quiet strength, Lauri built a distinguished career in business and law, traveling the world while remaining deeply rooted in faith and family. She gave selflessly—mentoring students, supporting her community, and opening her heart and home as a foster mom.

Her warmth, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives and will be remembered always.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00am, at Spanish Fort Church of Christ; visitation will begin at 10:00am.

She will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens of Fairhope following funeral services.
