LaVera M. Sorick

LaVera M. Sorick, age 91, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022. LaVera was a member of Oyster Bay Baptist Church in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was a 50-year member of Valley Chapter #26, Order of Eastern Star in Missouri Valley, Iowa, and Foley Chapter 142, Order of Eastern Star in Foley, Alabama. LaVera was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sorick; parents, Orval and Blanche Beaman; brothers Merrit Beaman and Truman Beaman. LaVera is survived by her children, Angela G. Aronson (Don) of Honey Creek, Iowa, Jillian L. Grube (Edward) of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Doris Sorick; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
