Leonard Robinson, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful servant of God, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Leonard was born in Brownswood, Texas, and later moved to Fairhope, where he became a lifelong resident and a beloved member of the community. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran, completing 12 months of active duty from 1963 to 1964. During his service, he and his wife were stationed at Fort Riley Army Base in Junction City, Kansas, before he was honorably discharged.

In 1963, Leonard married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Ginger Robinson. Together, they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, and family.

Leonard was a dedicated pastor for 16 years at First Baptist Church at Point Clear, where he faithfully served and touched many lives through his ministry. He was a man of strong faith, kindness, and compassion.

He found great joy in spending time with his family, who meant everything to him. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was a devoted Alabama football fan.

Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Robinson; his children, Sherry Nelson (Daryl), Becky Bowler (Charlie), and Lee Robinson (Andrea); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kaylee (Daryn), Josh, Kendall, Reece, and Gabe; his great-grandchildren, Cadence, Ella, Cade, and Rendyn; his sisters, Paula and Marjorie Ann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Cynthia, and brother Dwight.

Leonard will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his gentle spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who know and loved him. Roll Tide!
