LeRoy Beasley McCraw, born on August 27, 1948, in Virginia, passed away on October 22, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, leaving behind a legacy defined by his love for family and a spirit of unwavering kindness.
Lee enjoyed a successful career as a businessman, initially owning service stations before moving on to various investments.
He completed his education at E.C. Glass High School, graduating in 1966, before serving his country in the armed forces from 1969 to 1971. After his military commitment, LeRoy furthered his studies at Lynchburg College, where he developed skills and knowledge that would serve him throughout his career.
LeRoy was known for his gentle and loving spirit, characterized by a huge heart. His family will fondly remember the joy he found in traveling during the autumn months, which he considered his favorite time of year.
He leaves behind his wife, Sumi Park; his son, Jarrett and daughter, Heather; his beloved grandchildren, Sterling, Parker, Winston, and Melody; and his loyal dog, Boomer. Each of them will carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.
The family deeply appreciates the love and support shown during this difficult time. LeRoy's spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever.
A private funeral will be held by the family.
