Linda Jean Baber

In loving memory of Linda Jean Baber. April 24, 1943- September 5, 2023 A daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and pillar of her community. A woman who gave over 30 years of service to bringing new life into this world. She assisted countless mothers in the growth of their families, providing unmatched care in and out of the operating room. This service would allow her leadership skills to shine, eventually placing her as a head nurse in charge of tutoring the next generation of caregivers. A beautiful soul who spent all her years after her retirement, providing homes to those in need. The matriarch of her family, she had a fierce and fair heart. She is preceded in death by her father (Luther Lewis Sr.), mother (Muriel Margaret Lewis), sister (Cheryl Lewis), brother (Luther Lewis Jr.), and husband (George Baber Sr.). She is survived by sisters Betty Dungca and Karen Covington, her daughters Melinda Godwin and Karen Fuller, her sons George Baber Jr., Charles Baber, and Gregory Baber, her Grandchildren Kristin Bryant, Chase Bryant, Ryan Baber, Ashley Baber, Sarah Charfauros, Aaron Baber, Chase Fuller, Sage Fuller, and Cameron Baber, nine nephews, five nieces, and numerous extended family members.
