Linda Y Campbell, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. A resident of Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama, Linda was known above all for her thoughtful heart and generous spirit.

Linda took immense pride in her home and her appearance, always presenting herself and her surroundings with grace and care. A natural conversationalist, she loved talking to people and nurtured lifelong friendships, faithfully keeping up with those she cared about over the years. She also had a passion for shopping—not just for herself, but to bring joy to everyone around her. She took great delight in picking out the perfect gift, finding simple everyday ways to spoil the people she loved, and showing her kindness through selfless gestures.

Though Linda never had children of her own, her heart and home were always wide open. Over the years, she poured her unconditional love and devotion into the lives of several friends and families whom she cherished as her very own.

She is reunited in rest with her beloved husband of 58 years, John L. Campbell, Jr.; her parents, Robert L. Young and Bobbie L. Young; her sister, Patricia A. Barrow (Stephen); her niece, Karen B. Creel; and her great-nephew, J. Dale Creel, Jr.

Linda is survived by her nephew, Keith G. Barrow (Laura) of Dadeville, Alabama, and her niece, Michelle M. Ashby of Mobile, Alabama.

She also leaves behind her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews: Katelyn C. Immel (John) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; Jordan C. Creel (Lori) of Pike Road, Alabama; Blakeley B. Champion (Max) of Birmingham, Alabama; Riley C. Barrow of Daphne, Alabama; Cayden L. Barrow of Auburn, Alabama; and Ryan C. McLemore; as well as her great-great-nieces and great-great-nephew: Cameron L. Immel, Elizabeth "Lizzie" C. Immel, and Campbell L. Creel.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Westminster Village and Visiting Angels (specifically Dimple and Anita) for the compassionate care and support they provided to Linda over the last few years.

At Linda’s request, there will be no public service. Memorial tributes may be made in her honor to The Haven, P.O. Box 1063, Fairhope, AL 36533.
