Linda Patricia Hall Gleaves

Linda Patricia Hall Gleaves, 78, of Meridian, MS, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Fairhope Health and Rehab in Fairhope, AL. She was born June 22, 1945, in Point Clear, Alabama and was a long time native of Fairhope, AL. She graduated from Fairhope High School in 1963 and attended Montevallo University. She married her loving husband Dr. James Gleaves on August 26, 1966. They were married 47 years when he passed away in 2013. Linda and Jim lived many years in Meridian, MS. Services for Linda Patricia Gleaves will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, at Wolfe/Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, Alabama. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. and the service at 10 a.m. The Reverend Amanda Dosher from St. James Episcopal Church of Fairhope will be officiating. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Gleaves, parents Minnie Lee Hall and Thomas O. Hall, and brother, Philip Hall. Linda is survived by her sister of her heart Terry Dobson of Fairhope, Alabama, sister-in- law, Polly (Philip deceased) Hall of Titusville, Florida, sister-in-law, Joyce (Gene, Sr. deceased) Gleaves of Spanish Fort, Alabama, brother-in-law, The Reverend Glen L. (The Reverend Donna) Gleaves of Great Falls, MT; nieces and nephews, Jonathan (Sara) Grigsby of Fairhope, AL, Rachel Dobson of Fairhope, AL, Philip Hall Jr., John (Paula) Hall, and Mark (Angie) Hall all of North Little Rock, AR, Dawn Jones of WA, Jim Hall of Titusville, FL. Melanie (Greg) Morrett of North Carolina, Lea (Bill) Dickerson of Hattiesburg, MS, Donna (Kelly) Freeman of Daphne, AL., Gene (Christina) Gleaves, JR. of Daphne, AL, Katie Gleaves of Salt Lake City, UT. Lifelong friends Marlene Furgerson, Dr. Jim (Elaine) Isbell, Robert (Jan) Templin, Alice Raines and Dr. Stan (Terry deceased) Wade, Tina Sullivan, and The Revered Vicki Gladding.
