Lindsey James LeBlanc 69, of Daphne, Alabama passed away on May 12, 2023. Lindsey was born in Crowley, Louisiana on September 13th, 1953. He was the son of Lena Guillory Simon, stepfather Orelie Simon, and father Mason LeBlanc. Lindsey loved sports; he enjoyed playing baseball and football in high school. He also played golf in later years. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Orange, Texas. He played men’s softball for the Knights for the Knights of Columbus. He later coached girls’ softball for his daughter Nancy’s team, and he served as the board president for the league. Lindsey retired from BAE Systems in Mobile, Alabama in 2018, where he was a welding inspector and test coordinator. He is proceed in death by his mother Lena Simon and stepfather Orelie Simon. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Tessie LeBlanc, his daughters Penny LeBlanc-Kasmia and Nancy Lee, sons-in-laws Dr. Abdel Kasmia and David Lee, grandchildren Emil Kasmia, Timothy Hankins, Brandon Lee, Valari Lee, brothers Ricky Simon and wife Susan, Tony Simon and wife Mona, and sister Tina Cole and husband Marshall. To honor his wishes, there will be no service and his ashes will be scattered at sea. Cremation will be held under the direction of Wolfe Bay Funeral Home in Daphne, Alabama.
