Lois "Maxine" Ezell

Lois “Maxine” Ezell, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the age of 90.

Preceding her in death were her father, William James Nelson; mother, Laura Ellen Hurley; husband, James Ezell; sons, Chuck Metz Eddins and William Matthew Eddins; stepmother, Flo Nelson; sister, Wanda Nelson; sister, Ellen Faye Jackson, brother, Sonny Nelson, Jr. and Jerry Nelson; stepson, Michael Ezell; brothers, John Nelson and Olen Nelson and brother-in-law, Jeff Blackwood.

She is survived by her son, Barry (Jessica) Eddins of Spanish Fort; daughters-in-law, Nancy Ezell on TN and Sandra Eddins of Theodore, AL; sisters, Judy (Brownie) Brock of Spanish Fort and Marianne Blackwood of Lufkin, TX; brother, Charlie (Sharon) Nelson of TX; grandchildren, William James Eddins, Sarah Illene Eddins and Karen Eddins; many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 3:00pm; Visitation will begin at 2:00pm.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
