Lois "Marlene" Gunnison

Lois “Marlene” Gunnison, a resident of Loxley, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the age of 86.

She was born in Bloomington, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Duck” Gunnison, her parents John and Mary Landers, and a sister, Shirley Kirkby.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Jacque) Gunnison of Cropwell, AL and Todd (Victoria) Gunnison of Fairhope; daughter, Shea (Ricky) Reed of Spanish Fort, AL; brother, Johnny Ray (Caro) Landers of Spring, TX; sister, Mary Jo (Joe) Simpson of Hickory, NC; grandchildren, Britt (Whitney) Gunnison, Amy (Josh) Chapple, Hunter Gunnison, Miles Gunnison, and Tanner (Haley) Reed; great grandchildren, Talyn Gunnison, Grayson Gunnison, Gunner Chapple, and Baby Nash Reed.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope; visitation will begin at 1:00 until time of service.

Burial will be held at Montrose Cemetery following funeral service.
