Lottie Marie Furca Keleher

Lottie Marie (Furca) Keleher, age 87, of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2027, at The Retreat Hospice by Saad in Mobile, Alabama.

Lottie (affectionately referred to as “Sister” by her siblings) was born on August 4, 1938, to Raymond and Lucille (Starkey) Furca. She grew up in Hammond, Louisiana, where she attended Southeastern Louisiana University.

Lottie and her husband Colin retired in Fairhope in 2001, where she pursued her love of painting and enjoyed sharing her artwork with friends and family. Her greatest joy was working in her yard where she planted many flowering shrubs and fruit trees.

Lottie is preceded in death by her husband Colin Keleher, her parents Raymond and Lucille Furca, sisters Catherine Pittman, Doris Blahut, Carolyn Kleinpeter, Jimmie Prokop, and brothers Raymond Furca and Kenneth Furca.

She is survived by her two children Thomas Gautney (Tammy) of Fairhope, AL, and Debbie Steinhauer of Wake Forest, NC, and by her sister Dr. Jane Aswell (Jim) of Wake Forest, NC.

In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren: Rachel and Cory Steinhauer and Sarah, Daniel, Benjamin, Rebecca and Zachary Gautney; as well as six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Fairhope Chapel on Friday, March 27, 2026, at11:00am. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Interment will follow in Fairhope Colony Cemetery.
