Louise Clingenpeel, a former Human Resource Manager and cherished member of her community, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes at her home in Daphne, Alabama on August 24, 2025. She was 75 years old, born on September 8, 1949, in Dearborn, Michigan.
Louise was not only known for her professional achievements but also for her generous and loving spirit that touched the lives of her friends and family. She was a guiding presence and a source of strength for those who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt by many.
She is survived by her brother Albert Luna and sister-in-law Sandra Luna; her sister Linda Hawkins and brother-in-law Dennis Hawkins, along with their families; and her stepdaughters: Tracey (Michael) Estes, Cinda Drinkard, Stephanie (Steve) Scofield, and Deana (Jay) Wagner, together with their families. Louise is also remembered by her sisters-in-law: Mary Jayne (Bob) Eiben, Lloyetta (Mike) Atkins, and Sabina (Bob) Bartok, and their families, in addition to her nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends who held her dearly in their hearts.
Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Clingenpeel; her parents Jess and Margaret Luna; her sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Richard Mollenhauer; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bonita and Bob Holland.
Louise Clingenpeel leaves behind a legacy of kindness, professionalism, and unwavering love that will continue to inspire all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church, 1728 Oxford Road Homewood, Alabama 35209 on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00am. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 10:30am.
The Graveside Service Burial will be on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 6265 Columbia Road North Olmstead, Ohio 44070
