Louise Pierce Phillips

Louise Pierce Phillips, age 97, resident of Lillian, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Born in Fairhope, AL, May 13, 1928. Louise graduated from Fairhope High School in 1947, married her childhood sweetheart on March 16, 1950, lived in Daphne, AL until 1968 when the family moved to Perdido Bay in Lillian, AL. She was a longtime member of the Lillian First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Phillips Sr., and daughter, Susan Phillips.

She will be greatly missed by her sons Wendell (SueAnn) Phillips Jr. of Lillian, AL, and Ernie (Kim) Phillips of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Peree (Bret) Griffin of Houston, TX, Annie (Nick) Von Lanken of Dallas, TX, Bethany Phillips of Charlotte, NC, Mallory (Seth) Gustafson of Fairhope, AL, Callie (Rich) Allen of Chattanooga, TN, Christopher Phillips and Chloe Phillips of Chattanooga, TN; and great-grandchildren Jordan Griffin of Houston, TX, John Griffin of Boston, MA, Emmett and Eva Allen, Woods and Goldie Gustafson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Lillian, AL, Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2190 Airport Blvd, Ste2850, Pensacola, FL 32504.
