LuJane Davies Hill

LuJane Davies Hill, a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 26, 2024. She celebrated her 90th birthday in June.

LuJane spent her career as a long time Registered Nurse and finished her career retiring from the ICU at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. Her real passion in life was her Springer Spaniels who she showed in obedience, agility, and various other dog sports. She had many friends (and exploits) across the country while traveling with her springers.

 LuJane was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert C. Hill; her parents, Paul B. and Nerva- Belle Davies; and brother Hal Davies.

 LuJane is survived by her daughters, Kathy Pierce (Woody), Sherry Amerson (Terry Lisenba), Isabelle Pope (Parrish), and Leeann McMullen (David), all of Fairhope; grandchildren, Joseph Amerson (Lisa), Jennifer Parnell (Arron Miller), and Dylan Amerson (Kayla); great-granddaughters, Paige & Jessica Parnell; nieces, Lisa Davies (Lou Spilker), Mimi Pekerek (Jack), and Paula Blank (Rob); and many other relatives and friends, plus the extended family acquired over the years.
