Luko Bruer

Luko Bruer, a native of Dubrovnik Croatia, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, peacefully in his sleep at his home in Point Clear, AL. He was a recognized awarded athlete, an engineer, and a very successful entrepreneur. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Marquis Luko de Bona and grandmother, Ljubicia Zore de Bona; his mother, Jelica de Bona Bruer and father, Captain Vlaho Gagljuffi Bruer, his brother, Gino Vlaho Bruer, all of Dubrovnik, Croatia. Also preceding him in death, was his daughter, Daphne Alexandar Bruer of Point Clear, AL. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Bruer of Point Clear, AL; loving daughter, Jelica Bruer Nuccio (Vincent) of Oregon, and numerous extended family and dear friends. We will miss him terribly. May we honor Luko’s memory by celebrating his life, loyalty and character that inspired so very many. Private services are to be held at a later date.
