Lynn Elaine Koors, born December 30, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Lynn was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her—kind, generous, and full of warmth. She had a way of making people feel truly seen and loved, and her spirit touched countless hearts.
Lynn’s life was marked by love and devotion. She shared a beautiful partnership with her late husband, Gerald Koors, and their love remained a guiding light in her life long after his passing. Family was everything to her—her daughters, Melissa Roberts (David) and Anna Knechtel (Greg), and her four grandsons, Noah, Caleb, Benjamin, and Isaac, were her pride, her joy, and her greatest treasures.
Her heart extended beyond family. Lynn cared deeply for friends, neighbors, and all those around her, always ready with a helping hand or a comforting word. She had a quick wit, a warm laugh, and a playful sense of humor that made everyone feel at ease in her presence.
Professionally, Lynn served as an Operations Manager at Rockbridge Wealth Management, where she was known for her dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. She was proud to accomplish passing her Series 7 broker’s exam, a reflection of her determination and commitment to personal and professional growth.
An adventurer at heart, Lynn loved to explore the beauty of the world. She traveled to Canada to see the Rocky Mountains, visited the peak of Mount Denali in Alaska, and loved to go to Montana. She cherished National Parks and the quiet peace of nature, tending her garden with a skill and love that reflected her nurturing spirit. Simple pleasures, like walking her beloved dog Ryder, brought her daily joy.
She is survived by her daughters, grandsons, siblings, Lisa (Randy), Mark (Rachel), Julie, and John (Sherri), and Step Mother (Ann) who will carry her love and memory forward in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; her parents, Elaine and Donald Nicholas; and her brother, Donnie Nicholas.
Lynn will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the countless memories she created with those she loved.
A celebration of life will be held at her Residence on Saturday, January 17th at 1:00 p.m.Address: 30442 Lee Rd Spanish Fort, AL 36527
