Margit Carter

Margit Carter, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the age of 84.

Margit's life started and bloomed in Germany, where she spent her growing up years. Even though her early life in Germany set the stage, Margit went on to become a professional ballerina in Germany and also has a career as a yoga instructor in Gulf Shores, Alabama 

In Stuttgart, Germany, she leaves behind her older brother, Klaus Bolte, and his wife, Erika. In addition, she has a nephew, Mario, from her late middle brother, Ernst Georg.

She is warmly remembered by her daughter, Tanja Torres, and her loving spouse, Jorge. What's more, Margit's legacy lives on through her granddaughter, Samantha Hendley, and her husband, Robert. Also, she was lucky enough to experience the special joy of great-grandchildren, Mila and Isla, who surely filled her later years with love and laughter.

Per Margit’s wishes, there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to the charity of your choice.
