Maria De La Garza

Maria Rios De La Garza, age 82, of Robertsdale, AL, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was a devoted and loving mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas De La Garza; parents, Guadalupe Rios and Francisca Martinez Rios; sons, Nicholas De La Garza Jr. and Arthur De La Garza; granddaughters, Franchesca Trammell and Sherry M. De La Garza; sister, Rosa Alvarez; and brother, Guadalupe Rios Jr. Maria is survived by her children, Norma (Steven) Rogers of Robertsdale and Elvia Sharkey of Robertsdale; step-daughter, Maria A. (Johnny) Johnson of Sneed, AL; brother, Marcellino Rios of Summerdale; grandchildren, Nicolas De La Garza III, Nathan De La Garza, Dustin De La Garza, L. Arthur De La Garza, Derrik De La Garza, Heaven De La Garza, Steven Rogers Jr., Joseph Rogers, Nicole Rogers, Nicolas Rogers, Victoria Turner, Caleb Pavlista; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Magnolia Springs, AL, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
