It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that Marlon Gonzalez-Salinas, 29, of Robertsdale, AL passed away on July 07, 2022. Marlon was born on March 16th, 1993, to Angelica Salinas and Luis Gonzalez in Chihuahua, MX. Marlon spent his childhood in Connecticut before moving to Baldwin County, AL as a teenager. Marlon attended Robertsdale High School and graduated with the class of 2011. After high school, Marlon began his career in painting and construction, which was a passion shared between him and his father from an early age. Marlon appreciated being able to see the fruits of his labor in providing for his family and held great pride in the work that he completed. Employers and customers that had the opportunity to meet Marlon would always say that he won them over by his charming smile and infectious spirit. Marlon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Petrita Salinas. Marlon is survived by his wife, Anna Gonzalez-Salinas; his children Xavier Zen Brade, Lorenzo Marlon Gonzalez, and Lorena Angelica Gonzalez; step-son, Camdon Leigh Lucas; his mother, Angelica Salinas; his father Luis Gonzalez; his brothers Alexander, Luis Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez; his grandparents Francisco and Aurora Gonzalez; and many other friends and family. Anyone who knew Marlon, knew that he was a dedicated father, husband and son who consistently worked to ensure that his family was happy and provided for. He had an immense passion for jujitsu, Alabama football, music and doing for others. Above all, he always tried to brighten the day with laughter and smiles with his lighthearted soul. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought life to the party and loved to see others smile.
