Martha Carolyn Ryan

Martha Carolyn Ryan, 82, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Martha was a member of the United Church of God in Foley, AL. She loved sewing, painting, gardening, and making jewelry.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Cletus J. Ryan, Sr.; parents, Lester and Lurley Brown; daughter, Cheryl Wise; and sister, Brenda Waltman.

She is survived by her children, Coral (Jeffery) Gosa of NC., Jay Ryan (Gail) of Bon Secour, AL., Carolyn Ryan (James Harris) of Lillian, AL., Collette Hall of MS., and adopted daughter, Victoria (Lamar) Reding; brother, Cecil Starns of Foley, AL.; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 4:00pm.

The family will begin receiving friends, one hour prior, for Visitation.
