Mary Ann Curll

Mary Ann Curll, was born in Lake Bluff, IL to Joseph Robert and Julia Verbeke Kennedy on January 16, 1938 and died on February 24, 2022 at Westminster Village (an ACTS Retirement Community) in Spanish Fort, AL. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents and husband Lee Curll. While Mary Ann had no biological children of her own, she was a lifelong school teacher and loved hundreds of children as her own, both in the United States and Europe. Mary Ann is survived by her siblings William (Terri) Kennedy of Mesa, AZ, Patricia Kennedy (Michael) Weeks of Celebration, FL, Joseph Kennedy of Cody, WY; three step-children Steven (Diane) Curll, Leslie (Tom) Rea and Robin (Mark) Clark; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and close friends. A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband Lee.
