Mary Holcombe

Mary Charles Barnett Holcombe, a native of Escambia County, Alabama and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away January 31, 2023 at the age of 95. She graduated from Atmore High School and Huffstetler Business College. She retired in 1990 from Mobile County School Board Personnel Department. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Annie Dawson Barnett, her brother, Jesse Riley Barnett, and her husband of 73 years, Clyde Holcombe. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy G. Holcombe and her sister, Betty (Cleve) Roberson. Graveside services will be held at New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Barnett Crossroads, Alabama on February 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
