Mary Jo Scott Huggins

Mary Jo Scott Huggins, age 95, a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. She worked for NASA in the 1960’s and was an award-winning Painter. Jo was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Huggins, Jr., 2 sons; John Terry Presley, Moody Scott Presley, sister; Augusta Rose Ghiselli, brother; Lewis Barry Scott. She is survived by her granddaughter; Kelsey Jo (Stephen) Hunt of Albertville, 2 great grandchildren; Bryson Hunt and Kensley Jo Hunt; many other loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 2:30pm at Alabama State’s Veteran’s Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Al. We want to thank The Memory Care Unit of Somerby and Covenant Hospice for their care and compassion for the last several years.
