Mary Ellen Lane

Mary Ellen Lane, age 84, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022.  

Mary was a faithful member of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, known to her family as Nana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel J. and Rose N. Scully, and her daughter, Donna Lane Randes.

Mary is survived by her husband, Alton E. Lane Sr., her daughter Theresa (Terry) Wikle, her sons Alton (Susan) Lane Jr. and Darrin (Kelle) Lane; her brother James P. (Polly) Scully; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes of Fairhope, Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The family will receive friends during visitation with graveside services to follow immediately. Interment will be held in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
