Mattie Margaret Adamson, known to all who loved her as Margaret, of Lake Forest, Alabama, passed away in August 2026. Born on November 5, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama, Margaret lived a life defined by faith, kindness, generosity, and an unwavering love for those around her.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Richard Adamson, whom she married in 1993. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and faith. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tiffany Barnett, and a proud and loving grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Kyiah and Jackson. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, creating lasting memories, and celebrating life's special moments together.

Margaret retired from The Hershey Chocolate Company after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, she continued to devote herself to the things she loved most—her church, her family, and serving others. A faithful and active church member, Margaret enjoyed traveling and often led church groups on memorable trips, sharing both her adventurous spirit and her deep faith with everyone around her.

She found peace along the Gulf Coast, loved spending time at the beach, and treasured every opportunity to gather with friends and family. Margaret had a remarkable talent for arts and crafts and delighted in creating beautiful handmade gifts that she generously shared with others. Her creativity, warmth, and thoughtfulness touched countless lives.

Those who knew Margaret will remember her radiant smile, contagious laughter, and the way her presence could brighten any room she entered. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her compassion, generosity, and joyful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Margaret leaves behind her loving daughter, Tiffany Barnett; her beloved grandchildren, Kyiah and Jackson; extended family; countless dear friends; and her church family, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.
