Michael Charles

Michael Charles a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away peacefully December 9, 2023 at the age of 93. He was at home with his beloved wife, Judy, son Michael and daughter-in-law Sarah by his side. He was born March 20, 1930 (first day of Spring) in New York to parents Michael and Mae Fischetti. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Phyllis, Anita and Rose. He is survived by his son, Michael S. Charles (Sarah, stepsons Todd Hiday, Timothy Hiday (Shawna and 5 grandchildren, Marley Charles, Jackson Charles, Camryn Hiday, Kyle Hiday, Elysia Hiday Mason and many other relatives and friends. Michael was in the Air Force in 1949 and a self-employed businessman for many years. He will be remembered for his love of singing, playing golf, dedication to his work and his kind and generous heart. He enjoyed helping people and life itself. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. The family requests that donations be made in memory of Michael Charles to Community Hospice, 1450 N.
