Michael Joseph "Mike" Cumbie

Michael Joseph (Mike) Cumbie, age 66 of Foley, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Mike was a member of Saint Margaret’s Catholic Church in Foley. He was currently employed as a long-haul truck driver and had been a lay Catholic speaker and an Episcopal priest. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed being with his family as well as playing golf, watching Turner Classic Movies and, above all, riding horses with and spending time with his granddaughter Chanel.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Charles Marshall Cumbie, mother Mary Poole Cumbie and his granddaughter Lily Blair Cumbie.

He is survived by his loving wife Sherry Blair Cumbie, children Dustin Michael Cumbie, Chadwick Blake (Tina) Cumbie, and Sarah Elizabeth Cumbie; siblings Marsha Cumbie Graham, David Cumbie, Paul Cumbie, Patty (Matt) Cumbie Culbertson, and Marcus Cumbie; grandchildren Chanel Cumbie, Rose Cumbie, Charlotte Cumbie, Noah Cumbie, Palmer Cumbie and Henry Cumbie as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
