Michael Eric Pellot

Michael Eric Pellot, born in Brooklyn, New York, graced this world with his presence in 1972. A resident of Richmond, Virginia, his journey through life concluded on July 10, 2026, in Fairhope, Alabama at the age of 53.

Michael served his country with dedication as a Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps. Following his honorable discharge, he resided in Chapel Hill, North Carolina before making Fairhope, Alabama his home, cherishing the closeness of family.

With over three decades in the automotive industry, Michael distinguished himself as an invaluable contributor to prestigious global firms such as Axo Nobel, BASF, and BMW.

His profound appreciation for the arts manifested in his talents as both a visual artist and martial artist, finding harmony and discipline in archery and the ancient practice of Japanese swordsmanship.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alberto Nieves-Hernandez and Blanca Nieves-Aviles and his Uncle Luis Nieves-Aviles.

Michael’s memory lives on through his beloved mother, Walkiria E. Nieves-Aviles, and his brothers, Luis A. Pellot and Alberto R. Pellot. He leaves behind a legacy in his cherished nieces and nephews: Eric A. Pellot, Ava S. Pellot, Landon R. Pellot, his mother, Kirston Ruke, Grayson Wheelahan, and Abigail Wheelahan, along with their mother and his sister-in-law, Jessica R. Bailey. His presence will be dearly missed by Aunts Rochelle and Michel Terrell, Dalma and Felix Vazquez, Pia Nieves-Aviles, Uncle Rafael and Semra Nieves, and cousins Tina and Jeff Stidham, Derek and Caroline Nieves, Megan and Dylan Hendrix, Sean Nieves, Kelly Risk, and Kate and Christian Abbatiello.

Michael's life was a testament to his vibrant spirit and unwavering love for those around him.

A memorial service will be held on September 28, 2026 at 2 pm at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 34904 AL-225 Spanish Fort, AL 36527.
