Mildred Ann Henderson

Mildred Ann Henderson, age 82, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away April 24, 2021.

Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church Tillman’s Corner where she was in the choir and the Sunflower Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, “Nana”, sister, who never met a stranger.

Mildred was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Childress, Jr.; one daughter, Donna Lynn Childress; and one sister, Carol Gegan.

Mildred is survived by her husband, James E. Henderson of Mobile; daughters, Cathy Bean (Larry) of Mobile, Karen Hartley (Randy) of Foley; sisters, Cindy Revette (Johnny) of Mobile, Debbie Hall (Richard) of Loxley; brothers, Donnie Walker (Ellen) of Fairhope, Stanley Walker (Sharon) of New Brockton, Jimmy Walker (Suzanne) of Fairhope, Mike Walker (Lisa) of Elberta; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mildred will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Fairhope Chapel. Visitation will take place two hours prior, from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
