Norman Smith

Norman Smith, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 81. He was born in Jackson, Alabama to the late John and Mary Jane Smith.

Norman was a longtime member of New Era Baptist Church. He retired from Thomas Hospital and worked part-time at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Jane Smith, brothers and sisters.

Norman is survived by his four sisters, Pearlie Hunt of Daphne, Catherine Wilson, Annie Stephenson, and Alice Louise Smith; brother, Lee Smith all of Fairhope; and a host of nices, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, at New Era Baptist Church at 11:00am, with visitation beginning at 10:00am.

He will be laid to rest at Twin Beech Cemetery following the funeral service.
