Odiezell Poole

POOLE SPANISH FORT, AL Odiezell Poole, 89, a resident of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. Played basketball in High School and College and was a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church, and an avid quiltor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Poole and son, John Riley Poole. She is survived by her son, William L. (Delicia) Poole of Tuscaloosa; two grandchildren, Aaron Bishop and Michael Poole both of Tuscaloosa; a brother, William Mack (Clara) Kilgore of Brandon, MS; five sisters, Mary (Marvin) Copeland of Meridian, MS, Virginia Richardson of State Line, MS, Barbara Burton of Sandtown, MS; Linda Robertson of Brandon, MS; Melinda (Jim) Oatsvall of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church, Spanish Fort, AL at 12:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
