Patti Jaffe 1945-2025
If tears could build a stairway,
memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again.
Tuesday, June 17, my Patti wife of 55 years, after a long illness heard the Owl call her name to cross The Rainbow Bridge.
Born in Northampton, MA in 1945, she graduated Northampton High in 1964 and then attended The Summerville Hospital School of Nursing in Boston, afterwards working as a Registered Nurse for 40 years.
The marriage produced no children but did foster 10 dogs and one cat which she loved dearly. As per her request there will be no services and no funeral. Patti will be cremated, and her ashes mixed with her fur babies and spread in the wilds of New England.
Patti is survived by her brother David Dunny of Williamsburg, MA.; sister Joanie Mazor of Northampton, MA.; husband Benjamin Jaffe of Gulf Shores, AL.; and 37 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please light a candle in memory of all those who have gone before us and make a donation to your local animal shelter.
