Patsy Gene Whitehead

Patsy Gene Whitehead, age 83, passed away at home in Fairhope, Alabama November 2nd, 2025, where she resided with her husband, Errol Whitehead. 

Patsy was born March 17th, 1942, one of 9 children, to William & Iva Bell Edwards in Talihina, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death were her parents and children, Beth Bozarth, Linda Jennings, Michael Robertson, and Garril Mixson. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Errol Whitehead, son Steve Whitehead (Terri), daughter Connie Hurshton (Len), and sister, Geneva Edwards Boydston; grandchildren, Kevin, Samantha, William, Callie, Jacob, Gage, Jackson, Logan, Alex, Nick, and Ben.

A long-time Fairhope resident, Patsy worked as a dining room supervisor for The Grand Hotel in Point Clear for many years. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Helen Bates.

A private Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, November 22nd at 1:00 pm in Fairhope, Alabama, for family and close friends.
