Paul "Red" Ratcliff

Paul “Red” Edward Ratcliff, 78, of Summerdale, Alabama passed away on December 5th, 2022. Paul was born on December 13th, 1943, to Franklin and Margaret Ratcliff in Jasper, Alabama. After his long career as a delivery driver in Chicago, he retired back to his home state of Sweet Home Alabama. He enjoyed his time pursuing his love of fishing and building the biggest bonfires. His love for a big catch or a good crawfish boil was infectious. His sense of humor and card playing skills were always something to look forward to when others visited. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret, his sister Patricia, his newborn sister, Mary Francis Ratcliff, brother Joseph Ratcliff and his beloved dog Sophie. He is survived by his wife, Judi Ratcliff, daughter Tamara (Greg) Fischer, grandchildren Pierce, Margaret and Ruthanne, brother Thomas Repka, loving nieces, and nephews and some of the best fishing friends anyone could ask for.
