Peggy Middleton Scheer

Peggy Scheer 81 long time resident of Elberta, AL.  passed away July 15 2026. Peggy a hair dresser, owner and operator of "Peggys Shear Shop" for more than 50 years was loved by the community and everyone who met her. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, with the softest kindest soul. 

Preceding her in death are her loving husband Vernon "Vern" Scheer her daughter Terri Klein a granddaughter Katrina Denise a sister Patsy Middleton Henshon and her beloved pup Foxy 

She is survived by her son, Timothy "Scooter" Scheer (Jessica) of Elberta AL.; daughter, Tammy White of Gulf Shores AL.; Son in Law, Eugene Klein; grandsons, Kevin and Derek; 4 granddaughters, Kaleigh, Kassie,  DeAnna and Tabitha; a brother, Jerry Middleton (Egie) of Fairhope AL.;  and her favorite grand-pup Duke, Along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be held Sunday August 9 2026 at the Foley Elks Lodge 2621 S. Juniper St. starting at 1pm.
