Robert Franklin Baas, age 88, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away on February 23, 2024.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope, Alabama.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lydia Landon Baas.
He is survived by his daughter, Julia (Paul) Gavin, of Fairhope, AL; two grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Applewhite and Matthew Gavin; three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Gavin, and Mary Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Juanita Landon; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 3:00 pm. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
