Robert "Bob" Starr

Robert W. Starr was born in Orlando, Florida, 5/25/1927, he died 5/27/2023 in Fairhope, AL. Bob joined the United States Navy after Pearl Harbor attack, and the permission of his parents at the age of 17. After returning from war and some college, he worked for the FBI for a few years and then Merchant Marines for a few more years. After returning from sea, he decided to start selling seafood. Working in the Pensacola, FL area and then Miami, FL. One the years he became successful in his industry and was a leader for over 50 years. He did work till he was 90. In his spare time, he liked to fish, sailboat race, and snow ski in the winter in Colorado. After retirement he was a member of the Kiwanis Club.
