Robert Thomas Jacobs

Robert Thomas Jacobs, age 86, a resident of Bradenton, Florida, passed away November 27, 2025.

Robert was born on September 25, 1939 in Linn County, Missouri to Orval and Frances Jacobs. Robert was married to his beloved wife of 59 years, Martha Simmons, and together they raised three children. Robert was an Air Force veteran and worked for McDonald Douglas inspecting the assembly of the F-4 Phantom fighter jets. He went on to build a business as an electronics technician.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Martha Simmons; parents, Orval and Frances Jacobs; daughter, Lisa Gay Seipp who passed away the same day as her father.

He is survived by his son, Robert Terry Jacobs (Janet); daughter, Glenda Faye Cox (Bryan); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Jacobs (Becky), and Lewis Jacobs (Janet); and sister, Janice Fuemmeler (Melvin), along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama, on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00pm.

The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00pm for Visitation.

Interment will follow in Lay Cemetery.
