Robert Thomas Messett

Robert T. Messett 1934-2023 GULF SHORES, Ala. — Robert T. Messett, formerly of Warren, Ohio, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, in Gulf Shores, Alabama, after a brief illness. He was born May 23, 1934, in Warren, Ohio. He and his wife, Patricia, retired to Gulf Shores in 1994. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Church. While living in Warren, he was active in sports and was a successful Allstate Insurance agent for many years. He had a happy life with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Patricia Myford Messett; and two daughters, Marcia Messett Bowers and her husband, Paul, and Marla Messett. He also leaves three siblings, Sally Maras, Judith Wiener and Timothy Messett. Services will take place at a later date in Gulf Shores. Arrangements were by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes and Crematory, Gulf Shores, Ala. Unto eternal rest, grant him.
