Robert Eugene Milton (Bob) age 83, originally from Birmingham Alabama, longtime resident of Gulf Shores, AL and more recently Robertsdale AL, passed away on Monday April 1st, 2024.
He spent a majority of his career life in highway and road building construction and later during retirement, was co-owner of Milton Family Home Daycare of Gulf Shores with his wife, Frieda.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Frieda Joyce (White) Milton; his parents, Charles E Milton and Norma Jean Taylor Milton; and his sister, Shirley Harris (George Sr.).
He is survived by a sister, Deborah English of Auburn, AL; two sons, Alan Milton (Karen) of Birmingham, AL, and Geoffrey Milton (Susan) of Loxley, AL; one daughter, Amanda Milton Coggins (Jonathan) of Robertsdale, AL; five grandchildren, Jordan, Bennett, Nathan (Madison), Daniel and Grayson; two great grandchildren, Asher and Olivia; one sister in law, Bobbie (Floyd) Hyman of McCalla, AL; one brother in law, Tommy (Sybil) White of Springville, AL; and many loving nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home chapel in Foley.
