Roberta Ruth Noud-Snyder

Our beloved mother Roberta Ruth McAllister Noud-Snyder passed away peacefully in Pensacola, FL, with her family nearby. Born in Royal Oak, MI, to Marvin McAllister and Maree Viola (Smith) McAllister. She attended Alma College to follow in her mother’s and sister footsteps to become an elementary school teacher. She taught at Hoover Elementary in Hazel Park for 27 years. After retiring in 1987, she relocated to Quincy, MI, where she had a restaurant for several years, and was active at Northview Christian Church in Coldwater, MI. She and her second husband Robert Lee Snyder traveled to Africa and were married on Table Mountain in 2003. They avidly supported the South African Christian Mission, visiting regional churches and collecting bibles and materials to ship to South Africa. After Roberts death in 2019, she relocated to Pensacola, FL, to be near her children. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Noud, second husband Robert Lee Snyder, sister Jacquelyn McAllister Smith, granddaughter Amanda Noelle Harrison (LaBrecque) and great grandson David Satkowski Jr. She is survived by David Noud (Tammie), Steven Noud(Christal), and Lisa Lipscomb (Mark), her stepchildren Denise Diaz (Roberto), Lesa Winn (David), Que Hisel (John), and Tim Owens, sister in law Lynda Camerson, and brother in laws David Snyder (Susan), Eddie Snyder(Jo-Beth) and many dear friends. She had a very special relationship with her 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and recently became a great-great-grandmother.
