Roby Doyle Tomlin, Jr.

Roby Doyle Tomlin, Jr., age 67, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022.

Roby was a lineman for Alabama Power for 30 years with full retirement and then worked as a superintendent for Riviera Utilities. He was an outdoorsman who loved to travel, camp, fish, work in his garden, and a man of strong faith and love for the Lord.

Roby is survived by his wife, Linda Tomlin of Daphne; daughter, Allie Catt (Kourey) of Tucson, Arizona; son, Will Tomlin of Newnan, Georgia; brother, Ran Tomlin (Terri) of Newnan, Georgia; sister, Deb Partain; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dover (Daniel) of Memphis, Tennessee; step-son, Ian Banas (Denise) of River Hill, Florida; step-daughter, Kathryn Banas Nepomuceno (Nik) of Durham, North Carolina; grandchildren, Kainoa Catt, Adalyn Banas, Jonah Banas; cousins, Alan Causey (Robin), Carole King (Les); and many other loving relatives and friends.

Roby was preceded in death by his father, Roby Doyle Tomlin, Sr.; his mother, Betty Jo Tomlin; and his sister, Pat Humphrey.

A celebration of Roby’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope chapel. The family will receive from 1:00pm until the time of the service.
