Roddie Knight

Roddie Knight, age 80, a resident of Silverhill, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 19, 2023. He retired from Vulcan, Inc. after 38 years, was an avid deer hunter and loved western books and movies. He was preceded in death by his parents Garvin and Frances Lucille Knight; daughter. Kimberly Hale; son, Michael Shane Knight; grandson, Joshua Curtis; brother Larry Knight. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Faye Knight, Silverhill, AL; sons, Dale James, Robertsdale, AL and Clayt James, Orange Beach, AL; brother, Johnnie (Peggy) Knight, Jasper, AL; grandchildren, Haley Casey, and Shayna Knight; 5 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Eugene Hale, Ashville, AL; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Roddie’s Life will be held at 6:00 PM, Monday, June 26, 2023 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the chapel service.
