Rodney Ray Dowling

Rodney Ray Dowling, 57, left his earthly home for his next journey on November 5, 2022. He was born on August 2, 1965 in Elwood, IN to Raymond Dowling and Darlene Dowler (Gunn). He joined the Indiana National Guard in 1985 until his retirement in 2009. Rodney was the life of the party everywhere he went. His stories and laughter were contagious. He enjoyed numerous hobbies and was talented in everything he tried. His pride and joy were his two daughters and his pup, Truman. He adored his four grandchildren and they adored their “Manny.” He was very excited for the arrival of grandbaby number five. He loved his family and friends beyond measure and loved entertaining. Dinner parties were his specialty. Survivors include: Ken Siegman, partner of 22 years, Parents Darlene (Dave) Dowler, and Raymond Dowling of Elwood. Siblings Ray Dowling and Ross Dowling, Mitch (InCha) Dowler, and Kim (Darin) Schenher. Daughters Danielle (Zach) Lewis and Debra Dowling. Grandchildren Tyler, Ivy, Hazel and Emily. Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rich Dowling.
