Ronald Edward Bumpers, Jr.

Ronald Edward Bumpers, Jr., a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away on the 26th day of March, 2026.

Ron served his country in both the Alabama National Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Ron was a talented writer having had a poem published in the library of Congress of the United States.

He was a loving father, husband, son, and brother. He also enjoyed spending time fishing on Fish River.

Preceding him in death are his wife Shelly, and mother Donna.

He is survived by his two children; Roman and Savannah Bumpers, three granddaughters Serenity, Lilliana, Lucille; stepchildren Vincent, Jennifer, and Sarah Codarin and children; his father Ronald Bumpers, Sr; brother David Bumpers; and sister, Brandy and husband Toby Walker, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

He will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview funeral home in Fairhope, AL on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
