Ronald "Ron" Van Nance

Ronald “Ron” Van Nance, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Retreat Hospice in Mobile, AL. He was born in Denver, Colorado.

He was an Architect in Gadsden, Alabama and Montgomery Alabama until retirement in 2003 and has resided in Fairhope the past 20 years. He was a member of Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church.

Ron is survived by his wife, Sandra Nance; son, Rick Nance; sister, Jane Lindstrom (Barry); brothers, Gayle Nance, George Nance (Sherrie), Ralph Nance (Dee), and John Nance (Valinda); brother-in-law, Michael Lambert (Brenda) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:00am at Eastern Shores Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, AL.; visitation will begin at 10:00am.

To honor Ron’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity.
