Ronnie Lee Potter 74, a resident of Andalusia, Alabama passed away peacefully at a local Hospital there on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Potter and Margaret Simpson; brother, James Potter; a sister, Gail Potter Rupel; and a nephew, Jeffrey Potter.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Wendy Harbison Potter; brothers, Frank Potter, Danny Potter and Van Potter; a sister, Gwen (Mark) Rider; nephews, Wesley (Christina) Potter, and Daniel (Hannah) Rider; and one niece, Lynn Potter.
Throughout his life he was a 1st class welder and a painter as well. He was a distinguished Veteran of the Vietnam War.
A graveside service will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL, Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled Veterans of America, 345 Perry Hill Rd. Montgomery, AL 36109.
