Rucker Taliaferro Taylor, III

Rucker Taliaferro Taylor III, 76, of Montrose, AL., passed away April 29, 2025.

Rucker was born and raised in Richland, Ga. After graduating from Auburn University, he moved to Birmingham, Ala., where he met wife, Ginger. The couple later moved to Baldwin County, Ala., where they made their home for four decades and he worked as a CPA.

His greatest joy was his family and friends, and his true passion was mentoring and encouraging young people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Rucker Taliaferro Taylor, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ginger; his son, Rucker (Victoria); grandson, Beau; sister, Susan Meyer of Cummings, Ga.; brother, Frank (Teresa) of Richland, Ga., and many other loving relatives.

A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, May 13 at Bayside Academy on the Bluff at 5:30 P.M. The family is having a private graveside service at a prior time.
